Privacy Policy
WhatsApp Web Advanced Privacy Suite · Last updated: July 2026
During normal use, this extension does not collect, transmit, or share any user data. It reads nothing from your WhatsApp, no messages, contacts, or chats, ever.
Local storage only
All settings (blur toggles, panic mode configuration, theme, and other preferences) are stored
locally in your browser's built-in extension storage (chrome.storage.local) on your own
device. This data is never sent anywhere.
PINs & passwords
If you configure a PIN or password for Panic Mode, only a one-way cryptographic hash of your secret is saved - the actual PIN or password is never stored in any form.
No tracking during use
While in use, the extension makes no network requests whatsoever. It has no analytics, no telemetry, no ads, and no third-party SDKs.
The one exception: an optional uninstall survey
If you uninstall the extension, your browser opens a feedback page hosted by us. There you may optionally tell us why you left. Alongside that, the page sends the extension version and anonymized technical diagnostics about your browser and device - browser name and version, operating system, screen size, language, and timezone - to help us fix compatibility problems. It sends no personally identifiable information: no name, no email, no IP address, and nothing from WhatsApp. Responses are stored in a private spreadsheet controlled by the developer. All survey fields are optional and you can close the page without sending anything.
